About this event
We are excited to add a SILENT SUNDAY BIKE RIDE at SOUTH MOUNTAIN to the SSSC calendar. Pamela Caleskuzel will set the pace and lead the way for a 12-mile round trip ride on San Juan Road inside the park. Motorized vehicles are prohibited during Silent Sundays, so it's a perfect time to pedal without worrying about traffic. It's an easy, undulating road that promises wild flowers, great views of downtown Phoenix and Civilian Conservation Corps history stops along the way. You do not need a mountain bike to do this ride. Enter the park from South Central (10211 S. Central) and park in the main lot on your left. Pack water, snacks and sunscreen.
