Loop Trail - McDowell Mountains

 

6-8 miles, 3hours.

Loop trail at Granite Mountain Trailhead

31402 N 136th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85262, USA

This nice trail is not as rocky as some of the southern trails in the McDowell Mountains as most of the surface is smooth. In addition, there is not a lot of elevation gain compared to the rest of the preserve - enjoy some respite here!
When we've had enough moisture, this loop usually features beautiful wild flowers, which we are certainly hoping for!!
