The Scottsdale Sea & Ski Club is the premier activities club in The Valley and the surrounding areas of central Arizona. SSSC is a non-profit social club run by its members and for its members. The Club is oriented towards active adults 21 years or older. SSSC provides year-round activities including snow skiing and snowboarding for all levels, hiking, biking, roller blading, tubing, volleyball, theme parties, camping, road trips, day and weekend outings, out of town trips, art walks, wine tasting, boating, water and jet skiing, scuba diving, as well as weekly happy hours and monthly dinners at local restaurants.

The Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a 98-acre zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum, publisher, and art gallery founded in 1952.

Located just west of Tucson, Arizona, it has two miles of walking paths traversing 21 acres of desert landscape. It features 12,370 kind of animals, a walk-in aviary, cactus gardens, cat canyon and more. If you haven’t toured this amazing series of exhibits, it is a must see!

Tickets must be purchased in advance and they are available through the museum (http://www.desertmuseum.org). Ticket cost is $19.95 for Arizona residents.

Please select the “entry after 7:30am” option so that we can enter at 9am as a group. There are limited tickets offered for each time slot, so please order soon!

Meet at the museum, located at 2021 N Kinney Rd, at 9:00.
For those wishing to caravan or car pool, please let Nancy know in advance. We will meet in the northwest corner of the IKEA parking lot (2110 W. Ikea, Tempe).
We will depart at 7am sharp.
