9:30a Sunday hike with Elizabeth Bannister  

HIKE: Shaw Butte trail 306 at North Mountain Park
Start: at the parking lot at 7th avenue just north of Peoria.
Google maps approximated the address as 10832 N 7th avenue
 
We will meet at 9:30 am
and hike the 4 mile trail in 2 to 2-1/2 hours
moderate to difficult, steep trail in one section
 
The parking area can be accessed off I-17 taking the Peoria exit and head east until it dead ends into 7th avenue, turn left into the parking lot
 
or exit 51 at Northern and head west to 7th avenue turn right, 7th avenue winds around and eventually dead ends into the parking area
 
After the hike we will eat brunch at North Mountain Brewery

This is a great local brewery that happens to be celebrating its 5th year anniversary this weekend!
